Jagruti Bhikha is a seasoned technical leader and strategist whose work experience includes software engineering, creating and executing programs in technology as well as conferences for women in tech, and helping to provide tech solutions for nonprofit organizations by matching tech talent with the tech needs of the nonprofit.
Her latest undertaking is developing a pitch competition which features food science and food technology startups from around the world working with the leaders in Food Innovation space. She is also a member of the IFTNext think tank which is focusing on the next chapter for ift.org especially in the areas of food data intelligence, food, and water security, urbanization. She is also working with women farmers in Kandy, Sri Lanka, and Kerala, India to import Moringa to the US.
She loves connecting with—and connecting to—people and ideas that can lead to developing solutions for some of the greatest global challenges. She is also passionate about working with underrepresented communities such as LGBTQ, Latino, Black, Guyanese and Women in Tech, Innovation and Angel Investing.
She holds a BS in electrical engineering and computer science from NYU-POLY and an MS in project management from George Washington University and is the mother of two daughters, Priya and Nisha. She lives in the San Francisco Bay Area.
